Host/Printer Connection Guide

Connect a null

modem adapter

between the host

cable and the EIA

port.

Connection B:

Connect the host

cable directly to

the AUX port.

Not applicable.

DCE Host

or Modem

Connection C:

Connect the host

or modem cable

directly to the EIA

port.

Connection D:

Connect a null

modem adapter

between the host

or modem cable

and the AUX port.

Not applicable.

*Most host computers are configured as a DCE device. The Mentor
